Where to eat and drink in Fourth Ward
Fourth Ward runs from Trade Street north to Interstate 277, and from Tryon Street west to the Norfolk Southern railroad tracks. That is how the bylaws of Friends of Fourth Ward, the neighborhood association, draw it. Inside those lines are 31 places to eat and drink: a tasting menu in an 1892 house, a tavern in an old grocery store, a pizza counter, a Thai kitchen, and a food hall on the Square.
The list starts in the neighborhood's own streets and then works along the Tryon and Trade frontage. Every place was checked open in October 2026. Before you go, check hours on the place's own site; they change.
