The Colonial Revival home at 416 North Poplar has six unique oval windows and two rooms with cove corners. Per Friends of Fourth Ward, the house also features a Dutch barn-style roof.

Six oval windows plus a Dutch-barn roof is an unusual combination even within the broader Colonial Revival style; 416 N Poplar is architecturally distinct enough on the block to stand out from the surrounding Queen Anne and Victorian predominance.
